Penstemon deustus

This local Penstemon grows in the most unlikely places, from the ‘Hot Rocks’ for which it is named to open spaces in a Ponderosa Forest. Fairly common in the foothills above Boise. Its showy white flowers attract numerous pollinators and other insects. More information here.
